Do you and your employees/co-workers need a break from all the WORK you do at work? Sign up for the 2017 Corporate Games. 3 Rounds, 3 Rooms…the teams with the fastest times advance to the next round! The Corporate Team with the fastest time at the end of Round 3 escapes with the title of Escape Room Corporate Champs!
ROUND 1
All registered teams compete in Round 1. Complete your Round 1 Room in the Speakeasy (Uptown OR Downtown). The top 16 teams with the fastest times will advance to the second round. All round one games must be completed by Friday, March 24.
ROUND 2 – SWEET 16
The 16 teams with the fastest times in Round 1 will compete in Round 2 in the Asylum. The Elite 8 (8 teams with the fastest times) advance to the third round. All round 2 games must be completed by Tuesday, April 21.
ROUND 3 – ELITE 8
The final round of the Corporate Games! The Elite 8 will be among the FIRST groups to compete in our not-yet-revealed room: The Cinema! The top 3 teams will be awarded plaques, and the champions will also receive a trophy and Championship T-shirts! Round 3 games must be played by Tuesday, May 24.
Lakeland Escape Room’s Corporate Games is a perfect team-building activity. Your team will put their critical thinking and ability to work together as a team, to the test, while enjoying some friendly competition, in an effort to beat other teams around Lakeland.

How many players can be on each team?
Your team can have no more than 8 people. If you only have 4 people that can compete, for instance, that is fine, but remember: the more brains the better! (Plus, the cost is per team, not per person, so it’s more cost-effective to have a full eight-person team.)
Our company has enough people to build multiple teams. Can one company/business have more than one team?
Yes. Each company can have multiple teams. Just be sure to name each team with the company name and differentiate between each when you register.
How much does it cost?
The cost is $500, plus tax, for each team. The cost covers the full three rounds of play in each escape room, should your team proceed all the way through. The payment is paid up front when booking your first round game in the Speakeasy.

What all does that include?
It includes all three rounds of the Corporate Games, should your team make it to the finals. Every member of your team will receive a 2017 Corporate Games T-shirt, complete with the logos of all participating companies. Plus, throughout the competition, we’ll spotlight your company on social media and other channels, and on our website, with an up-to-date Leaderboard and link to your website. Plus, you’ll get the rare opportunity to compete with other companies from around Lakeland, and show off your team’s smarts!
When can we play?
Corporate game play must be completed during the following times:
Mondays & Tuesdays: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesdays & Thursdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Are there deadlines for completion of each round?
Yes. Round 1 in the Speakeasy (Uptown or Downtown) must be booked and completed by Friday, March 24.
Round 2 in the Asylum must be booked and completed by Tuesday, April 21.
Round 3 in the Cinema must be booked and completed by Tuesday, May 24.
How do I sign up?
Navigate to lakelandescaperoom.com/corporate-games/register-your-team. Complete the form, and select your payment method. After this is completed, you’ll receive an email containing a Corporate Games coupon code. To schedule your Corporate Games booking, follow the instructions in the email. This information will be used for your company’s spotlight throughout the duration of the competition. It’s not necessary that you know all the team members that will be participating at the time of registration. When your team arrives on the day of your booking, all team members will then be asked to complete waivers. However, if you DO have all your team roster finalized at the time of registration, your team members can complete waivers prior to arrival, here.
What do we have to bring when we show up to play?
Please show up at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Each team member must present a photo ID prior to playing. If your team members did not complete waivers online prior to arrival, they must complete waivers in-store prior to playing. Phones and personal belongings are not allowed in the rooms, but a locked cubby will be provided to your team.
Can I keep track of how the competition is doing?
Yes! Monitor the leaderboard here, or click the Leaderboard button at the top of this page. Team times will be updated as teams compete.
I, or someone else that I want on my team, has already visited Lakeland Escape Room and played one of the escape rooms. Can that person still compete?
No. If anyone on your team has already played ANY of the rooms at Lakeland Escape Room, they cannot compete. The Corporate Games involves play in each of our rooms. If a team member has experience in any of the rooms, it is an unfair advantage and not allowed. A team that is found to have a previous player registered for the games will be disqualified.
Can we substitute players in and out throughout the duration of the Games?
No. The players that you register with for your first round must be the players that compete all the way through. When you check in at Lakeland Escape Room for each round of the Games, each member of the team will be asked for a photo ID.
